Getting Here & Around Ocracoke
Arriving on the Island
Ocracoke is intentionally a little off the beaten path — and that’s part of the magic.
There are three ferry options to reach the island via the North Carolina Ferry System (please click HERE for the schedule):

-
Hatteras–Ocracoke Ferry (free, most commonly used)
-
Swan Quarter–Ocracoke Ferry
-
Cedar Island–Ocracoke Ferry
Please note that sometimes the north end has washout, so we highly suggest booking a ferry for definitive arrival. However, the Hatteras-Ocracoke Ferry runs more frequently if you prefer this (they do not accept reservations).
Once You’re Here
Ocracoke is small, walkable, and wonderfully slow.

-
Retreat homes are 1–2 minutes by bike or a 5–6 minute walk to the Little Rituals Studio & Sanctuary
-
Bikes, walking, and golf carts are the main ways to get around
Eating & Exploring
Favorite local spots (walkable/bikeable):
Helios • Stockroom Street Food • Dajio • Thai Moon • Ocracoke Coffee Company • Hang 10 Smoothies
Local shops to wander:
Little Rituals • Books To Be Red • Over the Moon • Bella Fiore
There’s space during the retreat to rest deeply - and also to wander, sip coffee, browse books, and let the island work on you.
